Planning a Day in Bowdoin Park
During the summer, the kids are restless and the temperatures are hot. Why not cool things down at the splash pad? During the summer, it’s open daily from 10 am- 7 pm, permitting that the weather is nice. You can bring lunch and enjoy it at one of the many picnic areas around the park. There are also soccer fields, softball fields and a sand volleyball court to ensure the kids burn off all that extra energy. In the winter, there’s even a hill for sledding.
Before you go, be sure to download the Zen Finder to your phone. The passport will then be delivered to your phone via text message. Be sure to have your location services enabled, so you can ‘check in’ via GPS. You’ll earn points that can go towards great prizes, like water bottles and might even earn a moment of Zen along the way.
