This new Subaru SUV comes exclusively with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine that achieves 180 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive® are standard, pairing with rugged features such as 8.7 inches of ground clearance and X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control.
The 2026 Subaru Outback Premium also boasts the new Subaru Multimedia System, which pairs a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.1-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Also standard is Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and the DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System.
Limited
The Limited trim comes standard with the 2.5-liter engine with the option to upgrade the “XT” engine, a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder capable of 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The 2026 Subaru Outback Limited also gets Subaru Multimedia upgrades such as a navigation system, a Harman Kardon® premium sound system, and wireless device charging. And if that weren’t enough, this trim introduces additional comfort amenities such as a heated steering wheel, a power moonroof, a 12-way power driver’s seat, and an 8-way power front passenger seat.
Touring
The Touring trim has the same powertrain options as the 2026 Subaru Outback Limited and boasts an even bigger equipment list. Premium additions include perforated Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and an enhanced EyeSight® suite with Hands-Free Driving Assist.
Wilderness
